Ordering your PetLife Photo Book is very easy. Here are the steps:

Go through your photo albums and your shoeboxes full of photos. Check your computer hard disk. Find the photos that help you remember the best times in your pets life. (Please see the FAQ page to get more information on the print & negative sizes and the digital file formats and resolutions that we accept.)

A standard 20 page book holds around 45-55 photos - we suggest that you send us 60 photos so that we have a good selection to choose from.  If you would like more photos in your book, we can add extra pages - each extra page can holds 2-3 images per side for a total of 6 extra photos per page.

If you would like to have a page that tells the story of your pet's life, or what your pet means to you, or any other text that will help you remember the wonderful life that you have (or had) with your pet, please prepare that section next. Verses, poems, single lines of text, important dates – all are great additions to the photos in your book.

Print and complete the Order Form. There is space for special instructions. If you really love a particular photo of your pet and you'd like to use it for the cover, please let us know. If you'd like a particular set of photos together on a single page, please let us know. We really want your input on how you'd like to have your book laid out!

Put your photos, negatives, slides, CDs/DVDs of digital photos, your order form, and your check or money order in a small box or a padded envelope and pack it up so that your photos aren't able to move inside. For charge card orders, please make sure to write your credit card information on the order form.

Make sure to ship with a method that provides a tracking number. We encourage you to email us the tracking number so we can track your package. The email address is PetLife@DoubleShotStudio.com.

We will contact you by email when we receive your photos to let you know that everything arrived, and give you an estimate for when your book will be finished.  It usually takes a week to create your book, and another week for printing.  If we have any questions about your book, we'll contact you by email (this can add a few days).

When the book is complete, we will pack it securely with your photos and send it by Priority Mail.  You will receive an email with the tracking number.
